The next frame

Once you are in the seat behind both screens, you can do something the screens never let you do: choose the frame that comes next. Not the whole film, one frame, composed on purpose and held lightly.

This is the difference between wishing and directing. A wish replays a picture of what you lack. A composed frame is a scene you step into.
